THE APARTMENTS
Three units are upstairs under a red tile roofed patio overlooking the gardens:
AZTEC - Light and airy with a sliding glass door to it's own private balcony. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a fold out couch in the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Click the photo for additional pictures.
GRINGO - Quiet and light with a view into palm trees from the bedroom window. It has a double bed in the bedroom, a fold out couch in the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Click the photo for additional pictures.
VAQUERO - Greets you with a splash of Mexican color. Just right for 1 or 2 people with a double bed in the bedroom, handcrafted Mexican couch in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Click the photo for additional pictures.
To accommodate a larger group Gringo and Vaquero can be rented together as a two bedroom-two bath suite with a connecting door.
Two additional units are located downstairs in the poolside gardens:
SUZIE WONG - Oriental décor with sliding screens in a romantic corner with it's own patio. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a fold out futon in the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with chopsticks. Air-conditioned. Click the photo for additional pictures.
QUIMIXTO - Quiet, cozy old Mexican charm with a double bed in the bedroom, a fold out couch in the livingroom, and a kitchenette. Air conditioned. Click the photo for additional pictures.

LAS CRUCES - Our smallest apartment, is fully equipped with a small fridge, 2 burner stove top, and a toaster/broiler oven. The bed is double so it can be put away if you want a dance floor. The 2 desks have a window to the garden or fold away if you don't want them. There is good cross ventilation and it also has A/C.

Come on in and visit for a while.........................
You can use Casa Tranquila as a base from which to explore the area on foot or horseback, by bicycle, or ATV - ride on the water, swim in the water, and dive into the water. We'll arrange any of these activities for you or we can go over the map with you and give you a bit of local knowledge so you can strike out on your own. We'll pack a picnic lunch for you and then massage your aches and pains when you return. If your greatest desire is to do nothing but lie by the pool and read or nap we support you totally in that choice and to insure that you expend the absolute minimum of energy we will happily serve you breakfast and lunch there. If getting your nails done is enough activity for the day, we'll even make the appointment.

All the apartments rent for $70 USD per night during Winter, from Nov 1 to Easter.

Premium Holiday rate from Dec 18 to Jan 2 and the 2 weeks of Easter are $80 USD per night.

Summer rate, April thru October are $60 usd per night, but deals can be made.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We don’t really have a policy for cancellations….we don’t do cancellations. When we receive your deposit you have a reservation….absolutely and no excuses, Sir. I promise to have your apartment all cleaned and ready and available for you….no matter what I am offered for it after I receive your deposit. If I fail in this promise to you, my only option would be hari-kari. And you promise to come and pay the second half of the rent due no matter what….the snow storm of the century or your business partner runs off with your bank account…whatever. No hari-kari necessary on your part, but I keep the deposit, which is really a decent deal, ¿no?
Now, having said all that….if you can’t come and you tell me in time for me to rent the apartment to someone else, I can refund whatever part of your deposit that I am able to recupe. I am not a heartless and cruel person…but I do take my responsibilities to my guests very seriously and my responsibilities to my business and my partners equally seriously.
So I would grey out the reservation and offer that space to the people who are then making inquiries at that time. If I fill that space, I will be happy to return the deposit minus a 20% fee. If I can’t fill that particular time, I can offer a rain check. When you get to come down sometime soon, your deposit is made already.
